Welcome to the third afterwork at LjurhallaFabriken, Friday 26th June!

The Afterwork takes place on the last Friday of every month — as a way to continue building community around the space and as a platform to share ideas towards the forthcoming programme.

This time, there will be the chance to meet our current artist-in-residence Adam James, and experience his work in progress - a series of large-scale paintings in the factory hall. Not to be missed!

Due to a last minute change of plans, the Ekobygdföreningen pizza night has been postponed - we will update with a new date soon. This Friday, everyone is therefore welcome to bring along something for a potluck dinner (optional). We will provide bread, snacks and drinks. Welcome to drop by!

Getting here:

Use Västtrafik ’Närtrafik’ service to book outward/return journeys from Vårgårda station to Ornunga Ryagärde 8 (included within zone C ticket). Limited parking is available on-site, you are welcome to park across the road outside the house.

Practical info:

There is no set price for the event. Donations can be made to our non-profit organisation - we are currently fundraising towards the factory kitchen and wood-burning stove.

We are always happy to accept any offers of help on-site — if you’d like to come early to help set the table or join in some simple building tasks, please let us know. Our main focus right now is completing the second artist residency space in the barn.

Välkommen till det tredje afterworket på LjurhallaFabriken, fredagen den 26 juni!

Afterworket äger rum sista fredagen varje månad — som ett sätt att fortsätta bygga gemenskap kring platsen och som en plattform för att dela idéer inför det kommande programmet.

Den här gången finns möjlighet att träffa vår nuvarande artist-in-residence Adam James och uppleva hans pågående arbete — en serie storskaliga målningar i fabrikshallen. Ett måste att se!

På grund av en förändring i sista minuten har Ekobygdföreningens pizzakväll skjutits upp — vi återkommer med ett nytt datum snart. Denna fredag är därför alla välkomna att ta med något till en potluck-middag (frivilligt). Vi bjuder på bröd, snacks och dryck. Välkommen att titta in!

Använd Västtrafiks Närtrafik-tjänst för att boka resa till och från Vårgårda station till Ornunga Ryagärde 8 (ingår i zon C-biljett). Begränsad parkering finns på plats — du är välkommen att parkera på andra sidan vägen utanför huset.

Det finns inget fast pris för evenemanget. Frivillig gåva kan lämnas till vår ideella förening — vi samlar för närvarande in pengar till fabriksköket och vedspisen.

Om du vill komma lite tidigare och hjälpa till med att ställa i ordning — duka bord och liknande — är det alltid uppskattat, hör gärna av dig i så fall.
