About the artists:
Josephine d’Avis
Josephine is a designer and artist with an exploratory practice rooted in bodies and landscapes. She engages with and through material, craft and practices of care. The resulting works are often a curation of space and time through the use of physical artifacts and workshop dramaturgies, focusing on the human senses and our embodied experience of the world.
Currently she is exploring community and rest as resilience, rituals and edible wild plants.
Mirja Timm
Mirja is an artist who works in the field of performative art, design and community work, with themes related to dis/connection, care and responsibility. The resulting works are often participatory and immersive.
Mirja grew up between peat bogs and the visual expanse of heathlands, and has a keen interest in examining how to find balance in an out-of-balance society. She also practices gardening, dancing with the plant-people, and somatic research.
